Money, shops & trading
Check what currency something costs before grinding for it. Cash, Souls, and Coins are not interchangeable.
Your different balances
| Balance | Used for | Where to look |
|---|---|---|
| Money ($) | Server shops, player sales, warps, and cash upgrades | /balance, /shop, /ah |
| Coins | Coin Shop items, keys, cosmetics, and some upgrades | /coins, /coinshop |
| Souls | Custom enchant purchases and combat progression | /souls, Enchanter at spawn |
| Entropy | Fishing crafting and upgrades | /fish |
| Jobs points | Jobs shop purchases | /jobs shop |
| Minecraft XP | Enchanting, custom books, and XP bottles | Your XP bar and book purchase menu |
Start with something steady
A new player starts with $1,000. Join jobs that match your play, keep useful drops, and check the shops. Sell crops through the farm shop, custom fish through /fish shop, and player-demand items through /ah or a chest shop.
Don’t sell every rare material just because it has a price. Fishing parts, gems, rank materials, and factory components can be worth more to your progress than the quick cash.
Shop prices move
Some server shop prices react to everyone’s buying and selling. More buying can push a price up; more selling can push it down, within that item’s limits. Check the actual menu before you build a farm around yesterday’s price.
For example, wheat seeds in the farm shop can sell between $0.03 and $0.25 each. Their starting formula is $0.12, then supply and demand changes it. That is an example of price movement, not a promise that every seed will sell for $0.12.
Selling on the auction house
- Hold the item or stack you want to sell.
- Use
/ah sell price. Check the item, quantity, currency, and price before confirming. - Open
/ahto manage listings and collect unsold items.
Normal listings expire after 48 hours. There is no seller percentage cut on normal fixed-price auctions in the supplied settings. Your listing allowance depends on your access. Check prices other players are asking, but remember that a listing is not proof that anyone buys at that price.
Direct trades and chest shops
Use /trade player for a trade window instead of throwing valuables on the ground. Requests expire after 60 seconds, and accepting starts a five-second confirmation. Moving, interacting, or using a command can cancel the trade. Read both offers before accepting.
Player chest shops are another way to buy and sell. Read whether the shop is buying from you or selling to you, and check the quantity and price shown by the shop. Keep your own shop stock inside your claim.
Bounties do not override the rules
Bounties add player targets and rewards to combat. A bounty does not give permission to grief, scam, trap, or repeatedly harass someone. Check the bounty menu and the area’s PvP rules before getting involved.
Bottling and sending XP
Use /bottle get amount to make XP bottles. Each costs 12 XP, one glass bottle, and $75, and returns 8 XP when used. You lose XP in the process; this is storage and trading convenience, not free XP.
/bottle stats checks your XP. /bottle until level helps check a target. Direct transfers through /bottle give player xp lose 15%.
Chest shop controls and costs
Chest shops use QuickShop. Sneak and left-click the shop container to open trading. You can also left-click its sign. Ordinary right-click stays available for opening a container when you have access.
The owner can right-click the shop sign for its control panel. Check whether it buys from players or sells to them; those are opposite transactions.
| Shop action | Default cost or limit |
|---|---|
| Create a shop | $500 |
| Change its price | $250 |
| Set its name | $250 |
| Normal shop allowance | 10 shops; extra access can raise it |
| Remove a shop | Creation payment is not refunded |
| Ongoing upkeep fee | Disabled |
Claim the stock chest and make sure you can keep it supplied. Changing prices repeatedly has a cost even when no one buys anything.
Chest shop tax
Chest shops use progressive tax on the shop owner, based on the owner’s balance. This is separate from the auction-house fee settings.
| Owner balance | Tax bracket |
|---|---|
| Up to $25,000 | 1% |
| Over $25,000, up to $100,000 | 2% |
| Over $100,000, up to $500,000 | 3% |
| Over $500,000, up to $2,500,000 | 5% |
| Over $2,500,000, up to $10,000,000 | 8% |
| Over $10,000,000 | 12% |
Tax is shown on transactions. Price your stock with that deduction in mind and check the actual transaction message for the amount charged.
The mining currency you should keep separate
Zeta comes from PyroMining and pays for its progression. Check it with /mine zeta. It cannot replace Souls at the Enchanter or Entropy in a fishing menu. See the full mining guide for ore rewards, artifacts, and pickaxe upgrades.
